Kejriwal Government directs its hospitals to use one-third of the reserved Covid beds for treatment of dengue, malaria, chikungunya patients

he Delhi Government has issued an order in view of the increase in demand for beds for patients due to an increase in the cases of Dengue, Malaria, and Chikungunya in all the hospitals of the Delhi Government.

According to the order, one-third of the beds reserved for Corona patients can now be used for patients suffering from other diseases like Dengue, Malaria, and Chikungunya. This decision has been taken in view of the decline in the number of COVID cases in Delhi and the increase in the cases of dengue, malaria, and chikungunya.

Health Minister Satyendar Jain said that the Delhi government has taken this decision so that there are ample numbers of beds in the hospital to fight dengue. To fight dengue, the government is working ahead on every front, whether it is to spread awareness, to prevent dengue, or to increase the number of beds in hospitals for the treatment of patients, the Delhi government is fully prepared.

Minister said that the number of corona patients in Delhi has come down, so one-third of the reserved beds for corona will now be used for the treatment of dengue, malaria, and chikungunya patients. The Delhi government is fully prepared to prevent the spread of dengue, as all the preparations for treatment of dengue have already been made in all the hospitals of Delhi.

These beds will be completely separated from those of the patients of Corona and the staff here will also be separate so that there is no possibility of transmission of infection. The Delhi government has taken this decision so that the number of beds in the hospital for treating Dengue patients are sufficient. All preparations have been completed for the treatment of dengue in all the hospitals of the Delhi government.

He said that the ’10 Hafte, 10 Baje, 10 Minute’ campaign being run by the Delhi government under the leadership of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been effective in preventing dengue, and people should actively participate in it so that dengue mosquitoes don’t breed. Through this campaign, awareness has been spread among the people about the prevention of dengue.

The people of Delhi need not be afraid of dengue but can fight and defeat it. In this campaign, all the people of Delhi are requested to support the government and follow all the guidelines issued by the government to prevent dengue.
