Agriculture plays a significant role in the economic sector. The automation in agriculture is the main concern and the emerging subject across the world. The population is increasing tremendously and with this increase the demand of food and employment is also increasing. The traditional methods which were used by the farmers were not sufficient enough to fulfill these requirements. Thus, new automated methods were introduced. These new methods satisfied the food requirements and also provided employment opportunities to billions of people. Artificial Intelligence in agriculture has brought an agriculture revolution.
Amid growing concerns of many Indian Farmers in the matter of profitability of their traditional Agri businesses, Promoter of India’s first Robotics and AI (Artificial Intelligence) Technology Park, Sumant Parimal of Innogress has offered stakes in its upcoming project GNRTP (Greater Noida Robotics Technology Park) to the Indian Farmers and their Associations on First- Cum-First-Serve basis through equity subscription route.
In this matter, Invitation letters have been sent by promoter to the various Farmers Associations of India offering them to subscribe stakes in the upcoming High-Tech Project GNRTP by investing in its equity shares. It is worth mentioning that only recently GNRTP opened its investment opportunity for Robotics Tech. Park project to select Institutional Investors and PE (Private Equity) firms through equity subscription route, and now exclusively added farmers into its potential investor’s profile.
This is first time GNRTP has invited retail investors in form of Farmers to invest and participate in the first Robotics and AI Technology Park of India. In his invitation letter addressed to Indian Farmers and their associations, Mr Sumant Parimal, Partner of Innogress, and Lead Promoter of GNRTP said “ By seeing immense contribution of our hardworking and risk-taking farmers, we have decided to extend our exclusive Invitation to the Indian Farmers and their Associations to become investors into our upcoming GNRTP project.
GNRTP project is going to strengthen initiatives of Govt. of India like Make in India-Make for World, Aatma Nirbhar Bharat, and Digital India. Investment by Farmers/Farmers Association by subscribing equity share of upcoming GNRTP project shall further strengthen our efforts of nation building, which our hardworking Farmers are doing since many years. By participating in GNRTP project, farmers shall have additional opportunity to build a High Tech. future of our country in AI (Artificial Intelligence) and Robotics areas in addition to agriculture and allied industry where they are already contributing extraordinarily towards the nation building since many years, Mr Sumant Parimal said further.
While highlighting his vision to offer an opportunity to Indian Farmers to turn as Tech Entrepreneur Mr Sumant said, This unique opportunity for Indian Farmers to associate with a High Tech. venture in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics is going to be an opportunity for our Agri Entrepreneur to also become Tech Entrepreneur for contributing in building a High Tech. future for our nation, society and for their community.
In this regard we have decided to allocate certain percentage of our project SPV equity exclusively for Indian Farmers and Farmers Associations subscription. This is a shift in traditional High Tech. Project finance, where only select FIIs and PEs gets investment opportunities to reap benefits of high growing and emerging Tech. sectors like Artificial Intelligence and Robotics. It is now our endeavor to see that these benefits of emerging Tech. industry should also gets shared with our enterprising and hardworking farmers. Mr Sumant Parimal added. GNRTP is getting established under a special MoU done by its promoter Innogress with state Govt. of U.P. during Investors Summit held in Feb. 2018 at Lucknow, U.P. , India.
GNRTP is going to have dedicated Tech. development to manufacturing facilities for Industrial Robotics, Defence Robotics, Medical and Health Care Robotics, Automotive / Autonomous Vehicle Robotics, Agriculture and Food Processing Robotics, Aerospace Robotics, Personal and Home Robotics, Hospitality, Commercial and Customer Services Robotics, Construction, Mining and Excavation Robotics, Security, Surveillance and General Services Robotics, Educations and Entertainment Robotics, Emergency Response Robotics, Retail and Logistics Robotics, AI (Applied AI for Robotics) and Software Robotics, along with common facilities like R&D, CoE (Centre of Excellence), Robotics Experience Centre, Test Beds. Premier Management Institute of India ‘XLRI Jamshedpur’ has given its mentorship to this GNRTP project.
